In A Heartbeat is based on real life EMT's (Emergency Medical Technicans, if you didn't already know that.) going though lives of normal teenagers. They have to deal with school, football (Tyler Connell played by Shawn Ashmore :) and Hank Beecham played by Danso Gordon), cheerleading (Val Lanier played by Reagan Pasternak) and being on the squad for probabtion (Jamie Waite played by Chris Ralph) The show also includes Caitie Roth, Val's best friend. She calls Jamie her 'back-up best friend', and is played by Jackie Rosenbaum. Val's little sister, Brooke Lanier, played by Lauren Collins.
You can watch the show weekends at 12:30/11:30c on the disney channel. That bites..they changed it..what do they expect kids who have school on monday to do on Sunday?? Man-oh-man, lol!
How I became a fan of In A Heartbeat is kinda a funny story. When I first heard of it on Disney I thought that it was stupid and pointless, 'wow another show on perfect people.' Then one day I was cleaning my closet, once in a geat while, it came on and I couldn't get up cause I had things on me, I thought, 'great now I have to watch it, or at least listen to it.' Then after I watched it, I found out that Shawn Ashmore was in it and I started watching it cause of him and now I just love all the people and the show. But of course Sarah and Caitie disagree with me and Shawn but oh well, hehe.
